Inclusion in Eramus+ and the European Solidarity Corps has been high on the agenda for several years now. For the next programming period 2021-2027, the European Union wants to further strengthen inclusion within these programmes and currently works on an inclusion strategy for Erasmus+. However, projects including persons with fewer opportunities and special needs still face major problems. Therefore, a wide range of civil society organisations from the regional, national and European level as well as persons with special needs have developed recommendations for more inclusive EU programmes.
With this working lunch, we want to discuss with you possible solutions and our recommendations for more inclusive European youth and education programmes.
- MEP Petra Kammerevert, shadow rapporteur for Erasmus 2021-2027, will give a key note speech.
- A best practice project will be presented to give you the opportunity to hear their first-hands experience.
- Your ideas and remarks will be debated in an open discussion with representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission
